Welcome
• The 11th Asia-Pacific Optical Sensors Conference (APOS), including the 7th International Workshop on Photonic Fibers and Applications (IWPFA), will be held in the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. • APOS has been held every 18 months and become a prestigious academic and technological forum of optical sensing in the Asia-Pacific region since it was inaugurated in Chengdu, China in 2008. • The conference covers a wide range of optical sensing topics that employ fiber optics, waveguide optics, lasers, micro-, nano-, bio-photonics. The plenary, keynote and invited speakers will consist of the foremost and active scholars in the optical fiber and optical sensor fields, to reflect the latest R&D advances. Their high caliber presentations would be quite valuable and inspiring for all the attendees. This conference streamlines all oral presentations in serial sessions at the main venue, to maximize the academic interaction and exchange. • We sincerely invite you and your group members to attend the 11th APOS and / or the 7th IWPFA. • We welcome you and your group members to present recent advances of your research and development at the conference.
